Questions to Ask of Insurance

If you have insurance and will be relying on reimbursement for your care, it may be helpful to call your insurance company and confirm how your benefits will apply. Ask them these questions about your plan:

  • Do I have naturopathic coverage?
  • Do I have out-of-network benefits?
  • What is my co-pay or co-insurance for visits with out-of-network providers?
  • What is my deductible, and how much of it have I met?
  • How much for my co-payment?

We also accept HSA (Health Saving Accounts), HRA (Health Reimbursement Arrangement), and FSA (Healthcare Flexible Spending Account) plan cards for payment on qualifying clinic services. You may also be able to use your HSA, HRA, or FSA accounts to reimburse yourself for out-of-pocket costs for certain eligible healthcare expenses. Please see your employer or tax accountant for information on these plans.
